Biography

During his competitive career Vladimir Nikitin competed at two major international tournaments and won a relay medal in both of them. At the 1982 World Championships he won gold and at the 1984 Olympic Games he won silver. His best individual places at those tournaments were eighth in 30 km in 1982 and fifth in 15 km in 1984.
