Biography
Dumitru Peteu of the Metalul I. C. Frimu sporting club was a factory worker in the town of Sinaia located in the Prahova River valley near Romania’s Bucegi Mountains. He was a crew member of the Romania 1 sled that competed in the four-man event at the 1956 Cortina d’Ampezzo Olympics, finishing 14th.
