Biography

Forward Rudolf Pittrich was a member of the West German ice hockey team that finished sixth in the 1956 Cortina d’Ampezzo Winter Olympics. He played for SC Riessersee from 1952-63, won the West German Championship in 1960, and won a second championship in 1966 with EC Bad Tölz for whom he played from 1963-67. Pittrich earned 44 international caps, scoring 15 goals.
