Biography

In 1991 Casey Puckett won the World Junior Championships in slalom. He skied the World Cup circuit primarily from 1998-2002. Puckett competed at four Winter Olympics and at the World Championships in 1993, 1999, and 2001, and was named to the 1995 team, but the competitions were cancelled for lack of snow. When Puckett’s alpine career wound down, he turned to the new event of skier cross. In that event he is a two-time gold medalist at the X Games (2004, 2007), and is a three-time winner of the Jeep King of the Mountain title. He still competed on the World Cup circuit in skier cross through the 2009 season.
