Biography
East German cross-country skier Uwe Wünsch finished ninth with the 4x10 km relay at the 1984 Sarajevo Winter Olympics. Individually, he finished 23rd in the 15 km, 25th in the 30 km and 43rd in the 50 km events. In 1982, he earned a bronze medal with the 4x10 km relay at the Nordic Skiing World Championships at Oslo.
