Biography

German skeleton pilot Diana Sartor, later wife of luger Steffen Skel, finished an unfortunate fourth at both the 2002 Salt Lake City and 2006 Torino Winter Olympics. She won the 2004 World Championships, and at Europeans won a medal of each colour (gold in 2004, silver in 2003, bronze in 2005). Sartor later owned a guesthouse in the Bärenfels district of Altenberg and occasionally participated in entertainment formats on German TV channels.
