Biography

Mike Kohn attended George Mason University but began bobsledding in the early 1990s, originally as a pusher. He won a bronze medal in the four-man at the 2002 Salt Lake City Olympics, and then moved up to the pilot seat. Kohn has competed for the Army in bobsledding, serving in the Army World Class Athlete Program. In 2007 he won a silver medal in the bobsled-skeleton mixed team event at the World Championships. Kohn is the brother of Nicholas Kohn, a Broadway actor and singer, mostly known for performing in the Tony Award winning musical Avenue Q.
