Biography

Ewald Janusz was a kayaker who competed at the 1968 Mexico City Olympics, finishing eighth in the kayak fours. Janusz was a member of the Górnik Czechowice club from 1954-71, although from 1962-63, while in the military, he was with Zawisza Bydgoszcz. He won four Polish national titles, winning K-2 at 500 metres in 1964 and 10K in 1967, and the K-4 at 1,000 metres in 1967 and at 10K in 1969.
