Ingo Schultz was a German 400 metres runner participating at the 2004 Athens Olympics. He came seventh with the 4x400 metres relay but was eliminated in the semi-finals of the individual event. He won the 400 silver medal at the 2001 World Championships and became European Champion in 2002. He had previously won a relay silver medal at the 2000 European Indoors.
Schultz became a project manager around heat and cold supply and the generation of renewable electricity. In 2010, he was awarded the Rudolf-Harbig-Gedächtnispreis (Memorial Award).
