Biography

Igor Lipalit was a Romanian sprint canoer who was active during the 1960s. Lipalit and Dumitru Alexe competed in the C-2 1000 metres race at the 1960 Roma Olympics and finished just outside the medals in fourth. At the 1963 Canoe Sprint World Championships he won bronze in the C2 10,000 metres with the non-Olympian Lavrente Calinov. The following year Lipalit and Achim Sidorov finished fifth in the C-2 1000 metres at the Tokyo Olympics.
