Biography

Ann Sutton, later Ann Taylor, was an eventer at the 1988 Seoul Olympics. She attended the University of Kentucky. Sutton was named USCTA Top Lady Rider in 1986, after winning five events. That year she rode Rolls-Royce, who was named 1987 Mare of the Year. Sutton had one victory on Rolls-Royce in 1987 and the won the 1988 Rolex-Little River USET selection trial. Sutton married Nigel Taylor, a British eventer who competed at the World Equestrian Games in the 1990s, and raised a string of successful event horses from his yard at Aston-le Walls, Northamptonshire.
