Biography

Claus Erhorn won a bronze and a gold medal with the West German eventing teams at the 1984 Los Angeles and 1988 Seoul Summer Olympics respectively. Individually, he was 16th in 1984 and an unlucky fourth in 1988. At the 1992 Games, he was selected as a substitute, but did not compete.

Erhorn won his only national title in 1983. He won a team bronze at the 1985 European Championships, and a team silver in 1987, when he also won the individual bronze medal. He later turned to coaching.
