Biography

Friedrich Ernst, Count von Grote was an active officer in the Royal Prussian Army and a show jumper. He came in 18th in the individual event at the 1912 Stockholm Olympics on his horse Polyphem. Nothing else is known of his life although he beared an aristocratic name.
