Francisco Vázquez was a Mexican cyclist who represented the national team during the 1970s. In 1972 Vázquez competed in the road race and team time trial at the München Olympics, finishing 25th in the latter. Two years later he rode on the track at the Central American and Caribbean Games, winning bronze in the 4,000 metres team pursuit. One year later he won another bronze in the same event at the Pan American Games in Mexico City. Towards the end of his career Vázquez became the Mexican road race champion in 1978.
