Biography
Austrian fencer Herbert Lindner participated in the 1976 Montréal Olympics. He finished 13th with the Austrian épée team and came 36th in the individual event. He won several Austrian national titles. Lindner later became a coach and fencing master.
By profession, Lindner became head of “Internal Audit” at Bundessportanlagen GmbH, and head of sports controlling at the Austrian Competitive Sports Centre Wien (Vienna) Südstadt.
