Biography

Volkmar Würtz was an épée fencer competing for the mixed German team at the 1964 Tokyo Olympics, where he was a member of the épée team that finished sixth. Würtz later competed regularly in several international veterans competitions. His brother Rüdiger was also a competitive fencer.
