Biography

Christian Miniussi was an Argentine tennis player who played professionally from 1984 to 1995. Miniussi achieved a career-best singles ranking of #57 in the world in May 1992, and a doubles ranking of #37 in the world in August 1988.

Miniussi won five ATP doubles titles, with his first coming in February 1985 in Buenos Aires with partner Martín Jaite. His one and only ATP singles victory was in November 1991 in São Paulo when he beat Jaime Oncins. His most successful year at Grand Slams was 1991, when he reached the singles fourth round at the French Open and the quarter-finals in the mixed doubles at the Australian Open. The following year he and partner Javier Frana won bronze in the doubles at the 1992 Barcelona Olympics.
