Biography

Waldemar Ciesielczyk, who competed for Warta Poznań throughout his career, won three Polish foil titles, one individual (1987) and two with his club (1981, 1983), while being individual runner-up in 1986 and 1987. He represented Poland internationally at various events, notably at the 1988 Olympics (when he placed 5th with the team) and the 1982 European Championships, when he made the final pool.
