Biography

Football (soccer) forward Herbert Grohs played with the Austrian national team at the 1952 Helsinki Olympics. The team lost its quarter-final 3-1 to defending champions Sweden, with Grohs scoring the Austrian goal. In total, he won seven international caps and scored two goals.

Domestically, Grohs played with GSC Straßenbahn Graz (1951-53), 1. FC Wien (Vienna) (1953-58 and 1959-60), SV Austria Salzburg (1958-59), 1. Schwechater SC (1960-62 and 1965-66), and SC Wacker Wien (Vienna) (1964-65).
