Biography

Ivie Richardson played singles and doubles at the 1924 Olympics, losing the bronze medal match in doubles to place fourth, playing with Jack Condon. Richardson was South African singles champion in 1925. He played one Davis Cup tie for South Africa, losing a 1924 match to Britain’s Patrick Wheatley. Richardson played singles and doubles at Wimbledon in 1924, losing in the fourth round in singles and the second round in doubles.
