Biography

Donald Wailan Walalangi was an Indonesian professional tennis player who achieved a career-best singles ranking of #403 in the world in August 1987, and a doubles ranking of #369 in the world in November 1987. Walalangi played on Indonesia’s Davis Cup team from 1984 to 1989.

Walalangi won gold in the team event at the 1982 Asian Games along with Hadiman Hadiman, Yustedjo Tarik, and Tintus Arianto Wibowo. At the 1986 Asian Games Walalangi won bronze in the doubles with his partner Sulistyono Sulistyono. Walalangi competed in the doubles at the 1988 Seoul Olympics with Suharyadi but the pair lost in the first round.
