Slovak football forward Mikuláš Krnáč joined Inter Bratislava in the Czechoslovak league in 1965. Krnáč went on to make 133 appearances for the side, scoring 50 goals, before joining FK Frýdek-Místek in 1974, and ending his playing career with RH Cheb in 1978. In 1968 he also played in two matches for Czechoslovakia at the Mexico City Olympics, including scoring a goal in their 8–0 win against Thailand.
