Biography

Stewart Tritle played both singles and doubles at the 1904 Olympics. He was in the construction business and was chief of construction for the 1904 Louisiana Purchase Exposition, at which the 1904 Olympics were held. Tritle lost in his first round of both singles and doubles. He also played in the demonstration tennis events, the World’s Fair singles and doubles, and the Louisiana Purchase singles, losing in the first round of all of them.
