Biography

West German gymnast Inge Sedlmaier participated at the 1952 Helsinki Olympics. She finished fourth in the portable apparatus team event, fifth in the all-around team event, and was 54th in the individual all-around competition. She also finished fifth in the team event at the 1954 World Championships. Sedlmaier was the first Olympian from Landshut, where later a street was named in her honor.
