Biography

Dacal Rodríguez was a Spanish light- flyweight boxer. Rodríguez won the bronze medal in the light-flyweight class at the 1972 München Olympics. Four years later Rodríguez competed in the same event at the 1976 Montréal Olympics but he was eliminated in the opening round. He was also the flag bearer for Spain at the Opening Ceremony. At the Mediterranean Games Rodríguez won two gold medals in the same weight category, the first in 1971 and the second in 1975. Rodríguez also won silver and bronze at the European Championships.
