Biography

Quinto Vadi competed at the Olympics twice for Italy in gymnastics. His career began before World War II with Club Atletico Faenza. He was second in the 1941 Italian junior championship. In addition to his Olympic appearances, Vadi competed at the 1950 World Championships, in which the Italian team placed fourth. He then became a coach and trainer, both for gymnastics, but also volleyball and basketball. In 2006 CONI awarded him the Gold Star of Merit.
