Olaf Ingebrigtsen won an Olympic bronze medal with the Norwegian team in gymnastics in the all-around Swedish system team event at the 1912 Olympics in Stockholm. He was also entered in two athletic events but did not start. Ingebrigtsen placed second in javelin throw at the 1912 Norwegian Championships. In 1922, he married Aaselie Christiane Gulbrandsen. Ingebrigtsen worked as a chemigrapher.
