Biography
Fred Wiedersporn was part of the Saar gymnastics team that finished 22nd at the 1952 Helsinki Olympic Games. Individually he finished 156th in the all-around competition. The team was coached by Kurt Marschollek who also introduced volleyball to the Saarland. Wiedersporn competed at the 1954 World Championships and, as a sports and gymnastics teacher, coached the male youth team of Saar in 1955.
