Jorge Schneider had the following podium finishes at major championships: 1st in the 1955 Pan American Games coxed fours (with Alfredo Czerner, Juan Ecker, and the non-Olympians Emilio Czerner and Gerardo Santos), 2nd in the 1955 Pan American Games eights.
