Biography

Hans-Peter Koppe rowed on the gold medal-winning East German eights at the 1980 Moskva Olympics. He won the eights at the 1975 and 1976 Youth World Championships. In 1981 he was third at the Senior Worlds with the coxless fours, and in 1982 second with the eights. Koppe studied mechanical engineering, but worked as an insurance and construction finance consultant after German re-unification.
