Biography

Lyubov Talalayeva began her career as a rower with Spartak Moskva in her early childhood. Talalayeva’s talent was good enough to earn her place on the eight crew for the 1976 Montréal Olympics. The Soviet team won their heat to progress directly to the final where they finished second to the East Germany eight. For her achievements in rowing Talalayeva was later awarded with the title of Honoured Master of Sports of Russia.
