Biography

Hartmut Sommer was a sports shooter who participated in three events at the 1968 Mexico City Olympics, finishing sixth in the free rifle event as his best result. At the East German championships he earned nine silver and three bronze medals. In 1963, 1964 and 1969 Sommer won six national titles.
