Biography

Warren Sprout, a career navy officer, was a hospital steward at the time of the 1912 Olympics. Sprout competed in eight events at the 1912 Olympics, winning a gold medal and two bronze medals in team rifle events. He competed in five individual events at the Olympics, but failed to crack the top 10 in any of them.
