Alexander Brandl was an Austrian butterfly swimmer participating at the 1992 Barcelona Summer Olympics. He could not advance to the final rounds of the 100 and 200 metres and placed tied 26th and 32nd respectively. Brandl also competed at three European Championships and won several Austrian national titles. He later became president of his home club, USV Krems.
Personal Bests: 100 m butterfly – 55.29 (2002); 200 m butterfly – 2:02.88 (1992).
