Biography

At the 1950 British Empire Irene Strong finished fourth in the 220 yards breaststroke, in the 4×110 yards freestyle (with Kay McNamee and the non-Olympians C. Miles and J. Morgan), and in the 3×110 yards medley (with the non-Olympians C. Miles and J. Morgan) and was eliminated in the heats of the 110 yards freestyle.
