Biography

Wolfgang Platzeck was an East German butterfly and IM swimmer who competed at the 1964 Tokyo Olympic Games. He failed to reach the individual 200 final, as he was eliminated in the heats. Platzeck later studied sports and worked as a sports and swimming coach. In 2004 he founded a swimming school in Bad Bramstedt.
