Biography

East German diver Dieter Waskow participated in the 1976 Montréal and the 1980 Moskva Olympics both in the springboard and platform events. He reached the platform final in 1980 and finished fifth. In all other events he failed to qualify for the finals. Waskow won the East German nationals on platform in 1977 and on springboard in 1981.
