Biography

Annette Hadding was a German freestyle swimmer who won the bronze medal at the 1992 Barcelona Summer Olympics in the 4x100 freestyle relay, although she only swam the heats. At European Short Course Championships, she won three gold, one silver and two bronze medals in different relays. In 1991, she won her only national title, in the 50 metres freestyle. In 1993, Hadding was awarded the Silver Bay Leaf, Germany’s highest sports award.
