Biography

Gregor Betz was a breaststroke swimmer who was eliminated in the 100 metre semifinal at the 1968 Mexico City Olympics. He also finished sixth with the 4x100 medley relay. Four years later in his hometown of München he was eliminated in the 200 breast heats. From 1967-69 he was West German 100 breaststroke champion and in 1969 he added the 200 metre title. After his active career he worked first as a coach at TSV Bad Reichenhall, and then as a graduate sports teacher. He later owned a practice for craniosacral therapy in Kloten, Switzerland.
