Biography

West German swimmer Andreas Weber competed at the 1972 home Summer Olympics in München. He was eliminated in the heats of the 100 m backstroke, 200 m individual medley, and 4x100 medley relay. Also in 1972, he won his only national title, in the 100 m backstroke. Weber later turned to triathlon, and competed in several regional events around Darmstadt. He spent his working life as a purser with Lufthansa.
