At the 1992 Olympics, she was seventh in the 200 free, but did not advance from the heats of the 100 fly. At the 1993 European Championships she was fifth in the 100 butterfly and sixth in the 200 freestyle, also winning bronze in the medley relay as a member of the Russian team. Domestically, Kyrychenko won the Russian 1993 200 and 400 freestyle titles. She later married Denis Pankratov, who won both the 100 and 200 fly at the 1996 Olympics.
