Ukrainian Aleksey Borislavsky won his only international tournament medal in the 1988 Olympic 4x100 free relay. Domestically, Borislavsky never won an individual Soviet title, but won four relay titles: 1988-89 4x50 freestyle relay, and 1989-90 4x100 freestyle relay. He also won 4x100 freestyle relay silvers in 1987, 1988 and 1991 and 100 metre freestyle bronzes in 1989 and 1990 at the Soviet championships.
