Biography

Kent Ferguson was a springboard diver who came to the 1992 Barcelona Olympics as a favorite, having won gold on springboard in 1991 at both the World Championships and the Pan American Games. However, Ferguson struggled in Barcelona, failed to win a medal, and finished fifth. He was a six-time US Champion on springboard.

Ferguson later worked various careers. He was a model, appearing in both Tommy Hilfiger and Bloomingdale’s catalogues. In 1996 he was named one of People magazine’s Most Beautiful People. He also worked for Starbucks as one of the northwest retail recruiters and was an internal communications manager at PG&E.
