Biography

Shaun Jordan was a freestyler who swam at the University of Texas, graduating in 1991 with a degree in economics. He led the Longhorns to four consecutive NCAA Team Championships (1988-91), and won three individual NCAA titles, in the 1991 50-yard freestyle, and the 1989 and 1991 100-yard free. Jordan competed at the 1988 and 1992 Olympics, winning gold medals both years in the 4x100 freestyle relay. He also won a gold medal in that event in 1991 at the Pan Pacific Meet, adding a bronze medal that year in the 100 free.

Jordan returned to Texas to earn an MBA in 1997. He initially started his own sports marketing company, but in 2003 joined Abraham Trading, a managed futures commodity trading company, where he has worked as a marketing director and director of business development. Jordan is a member of the Texas Swimming and Diving Hall of Fame.
