Biography

Mike Wall attended Stanford where he helped the Cardinal win the NCAA team title in 1967. He also swam on the Stanford 4x200 yard relay team which won the 1967 NCAA Championship. Primarily a distance swimmer, Wall won the Universiade 1,500 metre freestyle in 1965. He swam at the 1964 and 1968 Olympics in relay heats, helping the United States win three gold medals, but unfortunately, because of the rules in effect at the time, Wall never received an Olympic medal.
