David Young swam in the heats of the 4x200 freestyle relay at the 1928 Amsterdam Olympics. He represented the New York Athletic Club in 1928. Young was a native Georgian who attended Georgia Tech. In 1927 he won the NCAA title in the 150 yard backstroke. Young later became a paper salesman.
