Biography

Gaby Cárdenas was a Peruvian volleyball player. Cárdenas first success came at the 1975 Summer Pan American Games where Peru won the silver medal. The following year Cárdenas was on the Peruvian team that competed at the 1976 Montréal Olympics. Four years later Cárdenas competed at the 1980 Moskva Olympics with Peru finishing in sixth place. At the 1982 Volleyball Women’s World Championship Cárdenas won a silver medal after Peru lost to China in the final of the tournament.
