Biography

Brazilian water polo player Daniel Sili represented Clube de Regatas Guanabara in Rio de Janeiro. Sili was part of the Brazilian team that competed at the 1952 Helsinki Olympics. He played in the match in the qualifying round against Portugal, which Brazil won 6–4. In Group D of the tournament proper, Sili played in all three of Brazil’s matches. The team did not record a win, however, and were eliminated.
