Biography
Humberto Selvetti had the following podium finishes at major championships: 3rd in the 1952 Olympics Unlimited class (432.5 kg), 2nd in the 1956 Olympics Unlimited class (500.0 kg); 3rd in the 1953 World Championships Unlimited class (450.0 kg), 2nd in the 1957 World Championships Unlimited class (485.0 kg); 2nd in the 1955 Pan American Games Unlimited class (457.5 kg), 2nd in the 1959 Pan American Games Unlimited class (475.0 kg). He set one unlimited press world record in 1952.
