Biography

Kamal Mahmoud Mahgoub had the following podium finishes at major championships: 2nd in the 1949 World Championships Bantamweight class (295.0 kg); 3rd in the 1950 World Championships Bantamweight class (297.5 kg); 3rd in the 1951 World Championships Bantamweight class (295.0 kg); 2nd in the 1953 World Championships Bantamweight class (295.0 kg). He set one bantamweight snatch world record in 1950.
